New Community Hub & Consultation

Online consultation & drop-in afternoon 23 June

The Earls Court Development Company (ECDC) is holding a drop-in session to find out more about our plans to repurpose the old marketing suite on Aisgill Avenue into a new temporary Community Hub for local residents to use.

The drop-in will be an opportunity for you to discuss the plans with the Earls Court project team and provide your suggestions on how this new space could be best used by its local community.

We are also hosting a jobs drop-in between 4.00 - 5.00pm in partnership with the London Wonderground summer festival, with the Community Hub drop-in session taking place between 5.00 - 7.00pm.

Creating a new Community Hub

The existing buildings on the site were set up by the previous owners as a marketing suite to show the design of homes proposed as part of the previous development. Since 2016, those buildings have been locked and unused and we want to repurpose them to create a Community Hub for local residents.

In order to do this, we are submitting a planning application to allow the buildings to be changed into a flexible space.

This will just involve internal building work to provide a large flexible space for all to use, a separate smaller space, four meeting rooms and a kitchen.

The Community Hub will have a capacity of up to 50 people, which could host activities such as homework club, art club, film courses, cooking classes, and many others!

We want the gardens to be used by the community and would like to hear your ideas.

How can I have my say?

We would love to hear your thoughts and ideas on how you’d like to see the Community Hub and gardens used in future.

You can do so by visiting our website and completing our survey on https://ecdccommunityhub.commonplace.is/  or by attending our drop in afternoon on Wednesday 23 June (details below).
