Exciting New Summer Pop-Up Film Hub at Empress Space Announced This August

The Earls Court Development Company has today announced the launch of a dynamic new pop-up summer Film Hub at Empress Space. This initiative, in collaboration with the Earl’s Court International Film Festival (ECIFF) and Film Earl’s Court, promises an engaging programme of independent film screenings, informal Q&A sessions, and interactive workshops.

The Pop-Up Film Hub will be hosted at the Earls Court Skills Centre, Empress Space, and will operate as a drop-in event on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th August, from 11am to 6pm. Visitors will enjoy a rolling programme of independent film screenings from the ECIFF archives, offering a unique opportunity to view a diverse array of films from past festivals.

In addition to the screenings, the Film Hub will feature informal Q&A sessions, providing attendees with the chance to meet filmmakers and film crew providing insights into the filmmaking process, from script to screen.

The Hub will also offer an 'ideas' workshops including introductions to scriptwriting, storyboarding, and artwork design for films and festivals. Discussions on the history of film and cinema, as well as the future of the industry, will be held to encourage further engagement and interest.
