The Earls Court Development Company has today announced the opening of the Earls Court Urban Beach at Empress Space, West Brompton.
Offering three new beaches for the local community to enjoy and open daily from 10am to 6pm, the beaches are free to use and the perfect family outing during the school summer holidays. The urban sandy spaces offer seaside relaxation in the centre of London, where visitors can take a break in a deck chair or bring a picnic to enjoy in the sun.
As well as an area for unwinding, the beaches host a number of outdoor activities including table tennis, giant connect 4 and chess. Visitors can also participate in a game of padel on the adjacent courts, followed by a cooling ice cream. The Earls Court Development company has also created an outdoor library for all to enjoy.
