SIGN UPThe Community Hub turns one!
Neighbours from Earl’s Court, West Kensington, North End Road and further afield came together to celebrate the Hub’s one-year anniversary. Over 300 residents attended the event, enjoying a lovely, sunny afternoon with their families and friends.
All the children enjoyed bouncing on the bouncy castle, generously provided by Playday Parties. Local DJ, DJ Boots, set the atmosphere with his great selection of hits. The artistic talents of Emma (Lana Banana) and Maryam Luoung (Maryam London Face Paint) added a touch of brightness and creativity on the day, transforming eager participants into colourful characters with their wonderful face painting skills.
The local Scouts group got involved and set up an area which gave children the opportunity to roast marshmallows and make smores. Food was provided on the day by local restaurant Jaffa Bakehouse, North End Road. Although, the highlight of the day had to be the enormous birthday cake! The local ice cream van also set up shop, offering a sweet treat to attendees to beat the summer heat.
The Community Hub, over the past year, has proven to be an essential resource for the community, offering a wide range of free activities that have fostered friendships and brought people together.
As the community celebrates this significant milestone, the hope is that the Community Hub will continue to flourish and serve the needs of the community for many years to come.
