The Great Christmas Feast is The Lost Estate’s Iconic Festive Experience, which is opening at the former Mannequin Factory next week. Hailed by GQ “the experience you can’t miss this Christmas” the production is a fantastical fusion of immersive sets, world-class performances, themed food and drink.

Travel back in time to Christmas Eve, 1843 and step inside the enchanted home of Charles Dickens.

As night draws in, Charles appears, leading you and your fellow guests through a critically acclaimed immersive production of ‘A Christmas Carol’, each timeless scene accompanied by cinematic live music.

While Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the Ghosts of Christmas come to life around you, three courses, packed with Yuletide indulgence are served, each woven into the heart of the story.

First comes Cod And Oyster (a recipe by Catherine Dickens herself), followed by House Smoked Turkey with Apricot and Sage Stuffing (as ever, with ALL of Ursula’s trimmings…), finishing with 12th Night Cake, a Christmas spice-laden poached pear and frangipane finale whose origins date back to Medieval times.

Last, Dickens’ personal cellar is open to all, with a Victorian cocktail menu of Flips, Cups, and Slings, served all night. The legendary Smoking Bishop returns, as does the Pear Tree Cup, accompanied by a number of new delights from the mysterious The Rumfustian to the urbane Marley & Rye.
